Narmer palettes- belong to very important person that was bury in the cemetery and they were also ceremonial. It was not a palette for the living since it was so heavy and small. The larger person(king) is in the battle which in he is hitting the naked enemy in the head. The eagle represents the god horus in which he is also fighting the enemy. The plant growing under the eagle is a plant found in upper egypt therefore the battle was in upper egypt. This scene is the celebration of the battle since he is bare footed. The other side of the palette, it shows a different story. The king, shown in a different crown, is with his general showing the decapitated enemies in a row. The god is supporting the battles of the king as it shown a cow next to the dead enemy and the fall of their city.
