Compares 2+ conditions, has a control, typical experiment that people our age do. Ethical limits- cant force mass extinctions to study, cant give a pathogen to study disease could watch and study it. Just bc it says control and random sites doesn"t make it a causation. Random assignment is the key point it"s not just how they were collected.
