Going to the muslim student organization"s fastathon was very exciting. At first, you saw delicious dates that looked quite interesting. I did not want to eat them since i do not like dates too much. I also saw chocolates on the table that were hershey"s kisses. I was not a fan of those because they did not taste that good and were meant to be snacks for the attendees. I wanted to go to this event out of obligation because there was a lot of attention to the rohingya crisis in myanmar. During the event, it was inspirational to see how the world is responding to the crisis in. There is a human rights group on campus that is trying to bring more awareness so more people will know about it. When i was hearing this, i too felt inspired because it was good to see actual images of the extermination of a particular minority.
