Its very face valid: its very clear what the items are trying to measure; so when asked questions, people know what that question is meant to ask and might change their answers- might under or over report. Mchat is the measure that you can use on the youngest kids can be tested (18months) Social presses- specific activities that took many years to define that elicit certain specific social responses that are related to certain symptoms of autism. 4 modules- 1: preverbal 2: phrase speech 3:fluent speech 4:adolescents & adults with speech.
