Saas-(software as a service)-a service in which an application service provider supplies an application to a customer on demand. Iaas- (infrastructure as a service)- a cloud service that provides processing power in the form of a virtual machine. The customer manages the machine and adds its own applications. Ex: amazon ec2, windows azure, rackspace, google compute: define the term network host. Network host- a computer or other device connected to a computer network. A network host may offer information resources, services, and applications to users on other nodes on the network.
