A source i chose relevant to psychology of childhood would be the movie inside. This animated movie is about the mind of a child, riley, with characters in her brain that act as emotions and respond accordingly. As riley grows up her emotions depict riley"s feelings and they act accordingly. When her family decides to move to a new home in san francisco, her emotions get the best of her and she tries her best to fit in the new environment. Riley has a set of memories that are represented by islands. Each island in her mind depicts long term memories that she holds on and reflects on in the movie. Her many emotions such as anger, sadness, and fear lead her to make the decisions that lead her to learning more about herself and taking control of her emotions.
