Summary: for todays class, the teacher had two guest speakers from the lgbt community come in and speak about human sexuality. There was a prepared powerpoint presentation however, we did not make it past the rst slide as the class was more discussion based. As a class, we actively discussed several topics regarding human sexuality, mainly gays and transgenders. This discussion went all the way up until the end of class. New learning: today the most important thing that i learned is that you are not alone if your are dealing with issues regarding sexuality. In a large number of cases, transgenders and gays feel as if they have nobody to express their feelings with. Today i learned that the lgbt community does just that. This is a community that is accepting of all individuals regardless of their sexuality and allows individuals to express their feelings.
