Rhetoric = the faculty of discovering in the particular case all the available means of persuasion. Ethos = ethics morals and values goodwill = trust. Pattern utilized in court = use alot of logos, some ethos and no pathos. Just rhetoric = rhetoric is empty power to influence. Having proper knowledge of rhetoric can be dangerous but can also be helpful in: Morality = process of discerning right from wrong. Ethics = decision within a dilemma to adhere to what is good. Ethical standards/moral principles = set of rules we abide by that make us good people and help us choose right from wrong. Good and bad can be one in the same dependent upon context. Dilemma arises when one begins to brainstorm.
