Attempt to restore obliterated or damaged writing and analyze paper and inks. Not a graphologist (graphologist"s claim to be discern personality characteristics by someone"s handwriting. Are not permitted to become certified by the american society of questioned document. Handwriting is not static; changes over time in response to age, writing purpose, health, and drug use. The presence of sufficient unique characteristics in the questioned writing. Admissibility in court is not usually an issue. Must be arranged so that conditions are as similar to those of the questioned specimen as possible. Type and color of the writing instrument.
