Add some reagents to the marijuana in a test tube to see what happens. Add 2% vanilla and 1% acetaldehyde first, then add hydrochloric acid, then add chloroform(in that order). Chloroform is heaviest, so it sinks to the bottom. If the bottom layer of chloroform turns purple, then it"s positive for thc. Take 1% colbalt acetate in methanol, then 5% isopropylamine in methanol, and see if it turns purple. If it turns purple, there"s a barbituate presence. Add cobalt dissolved in water and glycerin, then you add hydrochloric acid, then add chloroform. Powdered cocaine turns the cobalt blue, then the color will turn pink when you add hydrochloric acid, then when yo add chloroform it turns back blue. Use a well tiny well plate to test stuff. Heroine turns bright purple, meth turns orangish, ecstacy turns blue, asperin turns red, cocaine turns pink, etc. confirmatory tests.
