Document Summary

While i have your attention, i want to take the time to talk to you about the world. I know many of you are captivated by this beautiful photograph. It is from one of the apollo missions. The astronauts were cast with photographing the surface of the moon as they were photographing the moon, one of the astronauts realized that he saw the earth rising over the horizon over the moon. From that perspective, he saw the sphere of the earth, entering what is known as the circle of illumination of the sun; any time it is a sphere, only half of it will be in the light. So many people argue that this may be the most important photo to ever have been taken, because up until the apollo mission, no human had ever seen the planet as a single entity of space. There were all sorts of metaphors such as spaceship.
