Greeks scorn the persians by celebrating the olympic festival: both sought help and were refused. Scythians sought help of their neighbors and were refused. Athenians sought allies in argos, syracuse, corcyra and crete: freedom fighters (how does this reconcile with scythian kings) Athenians sought persian despot in favor of freedom. Scythians must have been freedom fighters (herodotus recounts that the scythian kings were full of anger when they heard the name of slavery )
