Most of the world is sporadic or endemic of the disease. Sahara desert is hyperendemic along with siberia (most recent outbreak) - hard to get rid of it. Highest incidence of anthrax is white tailed deer. Germinate within host and multiply vegetative bacteria release anthrax toxins into blood host dies of toxic shock bacteria sporulate on exposure to oxygen. Fly transmission pathways (slightly vector borne disease - zoonotic) signs within 3 - 7 days death within 2 days of signs noticeable bleeding out of body openings. Infection by: inhalation cutaneous chest discomfort coughing up blood toxic shock painful swallowing. Least common form caused by ingesting spores symptoms vomiting loss of appetite swollen neck bloody diarrhea.
