As a teen, he believed that his second personality was an old, man, long dead. 1906: started correspondence with freud 19 years older and established. 1907: met and clicked jung"s reaction time research (1905) made sense. Also jung was swiss and christian not a viennese jew. 1909: 7 week trip to usa got on each other"s nerves. 1914: resigned as president of the international psychoanalytic association. Spent the years 1913 to 1917 exploring his own psyche.
