Aggregate: a group that is come together only briefly and accidentally. Social category: a collection of individuals with similar characteristics who may have never met nor do they interact. Ingroup: a social unit in which on individual belongs and feel a sense of we Outgroup: individuals who do not belong or are excluded from one"s own group. Reference groups: a collection of people used for comparison and identification. Primary groups: a small scale intimate group that has face to face, long lasting associations. Secondary groups: consist of large scale impersonal task focused and time limited associations. Instramental/ authoritarian leadership: task oriented, leadership is based on orders and directions.
