Uterus: pear shaped organ with muscular walls nurtures fetus. Cervix: opening between vagina and the uterus called the os. Vagina cervix os is opening uterus fallopian tubes ovaries. Estrogen- being secreted around 8 years of age. Progesterone- secreted by ovaries, help build up endometrium of uterus for implantations. Follicle stimulating hormone- helps the eggs develop becoming mature. Luteinizing hormone- release of the mature egg cells. Follicle stimulating hormone- in the pituitary gland triggers estrogen.
