Lots of rapids and waterfalls gives it high hydroelectric potential (1/11th of the words potential) Have to take a train to transport goods. Lake kariba created by creation of kariba damn. One of the 7 natural wonders of the world. North dominated by arabs and berbers; religion of islam.
