Native americans arise (fighting with natives in mid atlantic) As new netherland develops, the puritans arrive. Puritans must live in a tight knit community to support one another. 1600s pilgrims leave for northern europe and live an isolated community. As tobacco crop comes into england, the plymouth company makes a deal with the pilgrims to have them come to america to set up and agricultural colony. 90% of native americans died from epidemics in new england.
