Paradigm - a particular way of thinking. Demonism - perceiving that mentally ill people were evil or demons : mentally ill people suffered a lot. Dark ages: lepers were put into stone chambers of various types. First step during the dark ages of cleanliness: as hygiene improved, diseases lessened. Some people would only shower once a year. Renaissance period: known as the awakening period. This is because people became more aware and in uenced by the desire to have structure: leprosy declined and anyone remaining with it were put into leprosariums/asylums, as you get older, your memory becomes more fuzzy. John locke: created the idea of tabula rosa or the blank slate , when born your brain is clean, nothing is there. Everything comes to you after you are born: although in 3rd trimester of pregnancy they learn the sucking and swallowing reactions. Genetic behavior that disputes the idea of tabula rosa.
