Privacy: privacy means the right to be left alone, free from surveillance, intrusion, and having control over your information. The increased use of the internet has allowed the collection of information on anyone to become easier. Loss of privacy is widespread and happening so quickly many do not realize it has happened. Term: big data- the vast and exponentially-growing amount of data generated by social media, mobile devices, apps, and other digital tools wielded by the population on a day to day basis. Data mining is when companies extract this information collected and then analyze it to discover trends, patterns, and behaviors. Iot is like a (cid:862)glo(cid:271)al ele(cid:272)tro(cid:374)i(cid:272) (cid:374)er(cid:448)ous s(cid:455)ste(cid:373), (cid:449)ith trillio(cid:374)s of i(cid:374)di(cid:448)idual se(cid:374)sors monitoring the status of everything of interest to humans. Companies what to collect and store this information on supercomputers to extra the maximum amount of value from the data. Analytics software helps model anything from cultural patterns to the human mind.
