You are the advocate, so you have to think one of two ways: First- ask questions to determine what frame your listener uses to see the world. Second- adjust your story to the listener"s frame. Nonprofit definition: a corporation or an association that conducts business for the benefit of the general public without shareholders and without a profit motive. S accounts to pay operating and production expenses. Local, country, state, and/or federally allocated funds. Funds must be raised by the organization and the board. Income is unpredictable and cash flow is challenging to manage. Upper: board of directors, managing/executive director, communications director, development director - strategic management. Middle: office manager, production manager, marketing manager, ticket office manager, patron services, operations manager.
