Economic women make less in workplace - gay men are seen as being less than and therefor are more akin to women in pay area and rank. Violence- calling someone a lesbian - how do you prove against it. Homophobia- scratch a sexist, racist, usually find a homophobic. To say that homosexuality is only a bedroom issue is to deny the wholeness of sexual identity and its social expression (like saying i don"t see color ) Homosexual identity be viewed as viable and legitimate- not just tolerance . Find a way to combat lesbian baiting and gay baiting . Stop assuming heterosexuality- the norm is male, white, heterosexual, chrisitan, able- bodied, youthful and has access to wealth and resources. When we don"t see the differently-abled, the aged, gay & lesbian, people of color- it reinforces the norm.
