When you are ready to create a new program in karel, first go to the program tab, then click on the new program button. The next step is selecting where you will save your program and what it will be called. Your program will automatically save to this location and this file name every time you compile and run your program. If you are ever unsure of where this is or what you named the program, the information in the source file: box on the bottom of the program tab will tell you this information. Once you have decided where to save your program and what to name it, your program will be created, including the basic structure that you will need for every program that you can create for karel. The meat of you program will go where the green arrow is pointing. Any instructions that you would like karel to do, should go between.
