This is a more traditional, humanities research paper in which you will be asked to research a topic of your own choosing, related to a series of altered images. You will be asked to make an argument on this topic and support it with outside research. For this assignment, you might choose to write about a film, a photography project, a series of paintings, an ad campaign, the way one event was portrayed in images in the media, etc. The process: reading and discussion: the readings for this module are designed to encourage you rethink the terms of the articles we"ve read so far. How could use these new ideas in concert with your own research: research: please find at least two outside sources that function similarly to the articles we"ve read, presenting a complex, social argument. An article that simply provides statistics without analyzing their significant is not sufficient. Your thesis may engage with either, or both.
