Preconceptual: kids just started to figure things out. They interpret the world to what they think and what they feel. intuitive : they are still egocentric, but not as egocentric as when they are young. Upper body is still larger than lower body. High center of gravity affects balance changes as the child ages and develops. They tip forward when they make quick stops and tip backwards when catching a big ball. 20 deciduous teeth (fall out teeth, no permanent teeth yet) Still have to take care of teeth because it may cause a damage to their permanent teeth. Starting to skip, balance on one leg. Eating - habitual response-full diet, learning to take what is offered although they usually stop eating when full. Sleep 10 hours is average, many still nap. Toilet trained: usually day trained, nighttime and daytime accidents are very normal until age 6.
