Document Summary

Peter singer (1946 current) is an ethicist at princeton university. I think this argument of his is one of the most important arguments to spend our time considering. Remember, when faced with an argument, there are three options: deny a premise, a bad premise fails to support the conclusion, challenge the validity of the argument, poor reasoning fails to support the conclusion, accept the conclusion. If the argument is sound, then the conclusion is true. I will present the argument with valid reasoning. In other words, recognize if the conclusion of the argument is wrong, one of the premises needs to be false. I(cid:374)ger"s piece was written in response to a famine in the bengal region.
