Dissociative amnesia- sudden self relevant memory loss- forget things about themselves ex. They can still do things but they just forget who they are. Schizophrenic disorders: class of disorders marked by- Deterioration of adaptive behavior- stop eating, stop sleeping, stop drinking. Distorted emotion- they should feel sad but they"re happy: literally means split mind - refers to separation of mind from reality, one percent of americans are affected. Typical onset is between ages of 15 and 30: outcomes- three groups.
