In ads: blue brings greatest reaction from men. Red seems to bring the highest return from women. Black type on white reads 40% better than reversed out from black or gray. So, if you do reverse type, make it larger. Poorest legibility is black on red or red on black; be careful of printing on almost any solid color! (use percent shade to improve legibility) The cmyk colors are the process colors used by desktop printers and printing presses to reproduce full color photographs or illustrations. They also are used as a basis for creating new colors. The process colors are a bit harsh unmixed, so don"t use them individually in coloring work unless you really have to. The rgb colors are intended for multimedia or other work confined to monitors, so it is best to avoid these too. If boxes are given a none background and placed over other items, the underlying items will show through.
