Scientific method: does not assume change is a means to an end nor that the end result is designated by a higher power: process of testing hypothesis and theories with certain assumptions as a background. Intentional causality (instead of) to the universe, science assumes that there is a natural causality and that events, living organisms: do not appear without something proceeding them. Natural causality assumes that change is not direct to a final form or purpose.
