Love is anthropomorphized as cupid, a boy with wings who uses a bow and arrow to carry out his mission of spreading love two people, because when one first falls in love it"s when they are young and immature. Also, love targets one when the least expect it much like a bow and arrow which is the symbolism of how one gets shot" with love. In greek and roman mythology both cupid and psyche his name symbolizes something, cupid"s name symbolizes love while psyche"s name symbolizes soul. Which implies that love can"t go without the soul and inversely because the soul is the basic foundation of one"s feelings and one cannot feel love without a soul. The connection of love linked to war for the greeks can be found in cupid simply by analyzing at his means of spreading love with his bow and arrows.
