When first gathering her physical descriptions, i pictured a very large woman who looks almost like a giant and kind of like a monster. However, it is so interesting to see her thoughts in her chapters because she ranges from being comically naive to deadpan-like anger to gentle with jordan. Woman was reminiscing about the first time she found jordan and when her neighbor had helped her clean him up. Referring to saving her neighbor from choking, she thinks "i should have killed her and found us a different story" (page 7). She had so quickly changed into such a murderous mindset it genuinely made me laugh. Another part towards the beginning of the novel showed how naive she was, especially when johnathon had first introduced the concept of a banana to her and the other shoppers. They all considered it to be phallic and would not dare go near it (pages 4-5).
