Pg 28 quote by benkler: argument is from a technical economics sense: open projects are more efficient than closed systems like apple: apple is missing out on potential innovation (inefficient) Open source is production that isn"t coordinated by any company: production model is like the bazaar: At the whims of whoever wants to participate in it at that time: the source code is completely open to anyone. Nobody has motivation or leverage, only at the whim of whoever wants to volunteer their time.
