If you burn it then it pollutes the air. People still not back to their homes, worried about getting flooded again. Flooding went down then came back because it accumulated upstream. World is changing around us and it"s a big deal. Increasing extend and risks associated with changes are increasing. Actions we can take to deal with challenges. Engineers are in the middle and need to fix these. Complex world situations *(vuca = volatile uncertain complex ambiguous) Heavy rainfall increasing in intensity and frequency. Ability to prepare, plan for, absorb, recover from, adapt to actual or potentially adverse events. It is a way to think; it is a culture. Taking up the land with pavement, stores, houses driveways.
