Around same time, zulu"s chaka comes to rule in northern parts. He was a political dictator with less of a religious tone. He was, however, influenced by western ideals/talk it"s artificial to divide figures in religion/politics there is indigenous idiom that roots people in both. Zulu as a concept may be a borrowing meaning up above . No other kingdom where people call themselves a people from up above . the idea of being up above is ruling those underneath you (in a dictatorial sense) was a new ideology. Umfolozi river was a major area of the zulu kingdom.
