She had to address these issues, but was scared to retaliate. In school, as a black woman in ballet, she was depressed. Her skin wasn"t the right color, her body wasn"t the right shape and she did not fight in. She started from the beginning and learned how to write. Reading rosa park and connecting her with south africa. Women are coming to the front and leading protests. Our voices are strong, but others try to shush us. We are the women who are not socialites, but we stand and fight for what we want. For women in the us and south africa, who dealt with the same issues, you can still see some of the same problems.
