Cd1 restricted alphabeta t cells: recognizes lipids (cd1 recognizes glycolipids, restricted to mycobacterial pathogens. Nkt cells: recognize lipid antigens presented by cd1d. 14: recognize proteins made by mcobacterial infections because make a lot of things we do not make, peptides will be loaded with these non-self peptides, lipid antigens presented by class 1 like molecules. Used for shuttling around lipids in endosomes.
