Enters , gloats about how he helped to kill agamemnon. Tells chorus that atreus served his father, thyestes, feast his own children. Avenged his father w the death of atreus" son agamemnon. Chorus says restus could still avenge agamemnon. Electra sister of orestes brings libations to tomb of agamemnon. Meets brother, who had been in exile. Orestes with encouragements from electra and the god of apollo. Erinyes the avenging furies pursue orestes because he killed his mother.
