Lightning: describe the fire behavior for the first three days. Use the time stamps in the video to determine this. It happened on july 6, late in the evening (12:09) when the first call of a fire came it. The next morning sparks were flying bc one tree caught on fire but it wasn"t major. Each day got worse, but it was just mainly smoke so no one was majorly concerned, until they saw huge amount of smoke coming from below them. They did not have lots of time to get back up to the safety zone in h1 (2:30 ish in part 2). They were heading uphill but eventually started heading down hill since the fire worked its way over the ridge and fire was everywhere (12:40 part 2). They still had little time to get out of the fire: use the concepts and principles of fire behavior to explain what happened during the blowup at south canyon.
