1. 5%-20% of US population will contract the flu
2. Lasts up to 5 days enza
ii. Signs and Symptoms
1. Fever
2. Cough
3. Headache
4. Photophobia
5. Sore throat
iii. Treatment
1. Flu shot
2. Wash hands
3. Rest
4. Drink fluids
b. Common Cold (Rhinovirus)
i. Signs and Symptoms
1. Scratch or sore throat
2. Sneezing
3. Nasal congestion
4. Secondary infection
a. Yellowish nasal discharge
b. Fever
II. Secondary Conditions of Respiratory Illness
a. Sinusitis
b. Acute Bronchitis
c. Strep throat
d. Tonsillitis

III. General Medical Conditions
