President generally wants to keep power to themselves, so the vice president does not do much. In current times acts as an advisor to the president. President has 10 days to do something with it. Can either veto it or sign it into law. If he signs it into law, he is to enforce it. The president makes a statement when he signs a bill explaining how he perceives it and how he will enforce it. If he vetoes a bill, it goes back to congress to see if they want to override the veto.
