Sleep, never smoking, health body weight, moderate or less alcohol, regular exercise, eating breakfast, not snacking between meals. Mortality rates are lower the more health behaviors they engage in. Separated by age because we know there are age effects. Precortical development - judgement, decision making, etc. Could be a factor, doesn"t completely explain it. Barriers have a stronger influence than the perceived benefits. Age - more likely at older age. I know so many people who have gotten, treated, and in remission. Not a big deal - can decrease likelihood. Someone you know was diagnosed - push to do this.
