Random movement- molecules move back and forth equally distributed equally on both sides

How are we able to keep things inside ourselves? - cell membrane control he way molecules move

across them. Semi permeable membrane( proteins)

Protein channel – depends on concentration

Aquaporin's- allows water to travel throughout the membrane and any direction ,

Cells retaining water -

Ions with a charge can not move across the cell membrane

Inside cell – concentration on ions

If a cell is in an isotonic solution- equal concentration of solute

Hypotonic – less solute, more water on the outside

Hyper tonic – more solute(salt) , water outside the cell expands

Hight to low concentration , cell shrinks

Behavioral- what you do , putting on close , fire? Etc.

Anatomical – extremities , blood flowing from the core to the outmost parts of the body and returning
