Thematic apperception test - interpret the picture in your own way, make a story try to understand needs and motives. Murray and morgan - started to have a romantic relationship even though murray was married; it wasn"t a secret. Christina morgan ended up drowning in one of the parties - some assume that murray was the one who drowned morgan, they broke it up and morgan was very upset - etc. *not going to be on a test, but this just gives context; murray was very quirky, one of the most quirkiest psychologists we"ll learn about. Usually shown for 5 seconds, and then people write for 5 minutes about what may be going on in the picture. Ambiguous stimulus, you have to draw on your own imagination, which is grounded in your personality. You get people to write content, and unknown to them, they are na ve, and their personality will bleed through what they wrote.
