The noradrenaline system is a neurotransmitter system that originates in areas of the brain stem structure. These areas include the locus coeruleus, medulla, as well as behind the locus coeruleus. It helps regulate anxiety, arousal, working memory, cognitive control and more. It controls neurotransmitters in the central nervous syste(cid:373).
