A line or inquiry: developing sets of questions that one tries to answer through various reading, research, and revision with the intent to form/develop an argument. Forming a "central question" for your line or inquiry. "why" question: attempting to answer why questions. It can lead to speculation and further investigation: what questions. An in class example: mp1 had a series of questions that needed to be answered. In finding these question we developed our knowledge about how a text impacts fandom we had to see how our understanding interacted with the texts that we were talking about in class. Another example: exercise in library: had central idea in which concept mapping begins, concept mapping formed from general knowledge of topic, generated relationships/questions with different aspects of concept mapping, research pairs with questions generated.
