Deep sea anglerfish male --> focusing on one smell of female pheromone. 95%-99% of salmon return to their natal stream. Especially copper --> unable to distinguish home signal anymore --> never reproduce --> pebble mines create copper in water column, screw up chinook salmon fishery. Detection with otoliths --> calcium carbonate & otolin --> suspended in braincase.
