Israel is hated a lot by the region, the city suffers from a lot of unemployment and the population is still increasing. The us is the greatest power in sight, but still doesn"t feel secure and spends a lot of money on armaments. It is less constrained from intervening in locations around the globe, but this comes with consequences. It feels less secure and it is stretching its military thin.
