Document Summary
The video i"m choosing to write about is first contact . The concept i am deciding to focus on is colonization; however, i would also like to touch on the subjects of race and culture. I am still deciding my character/ narrator; although i am pretty sure i will end up choosing the main brother, the leader brother. A brief description of the plot is that new guinea was one of the last places to be colonized by the europeans. This was due to the discovery of gold. When a depression hit in the middle of the colonization, three australian brothers decided to stay and finish the colonization while everyone else fled back to their home country. The video shows how the terms colonization, race, and culture are undermined.
