Spread only 100 years prior to the arrival of spaniards which means that the conquer was quick and fast. The only thing they wanted was tribute from the conquered lands. They left the local rulers and people as they were. The local rulers still had power, wealth, prestige: they were less likely to revolt against the triple alliance, the people who made the goods were happy they were being ruled by a trustworthy leader.
