How memorates are communicated: detailed, cautious, defensive, observations over interpretation, alternative explanation offered, avowal of prior skepticism i"m not saying it was ghost, it was just something weird. How comfortable are witnesses when talking about their paranormal experiences: controversial? reinforcing idea that many people don"t hold these ideas.
